Rotary Club of Pudu working with YWCA are providing fully sponsored vocational placement for the underprivileged young Malaysian women to undergo a full academic term of Vocational Training at the YWCA. Successful applicants will be provided board and lodging at the YWCA as well as undergo a Vocational Training Course.

Koon Yew Yin Scholarship

All students, irrespective of race and religion who have secured a place to study for the foundation course in any of the public Universities, including UTAR, are eligible to apply for scholarships from the Koon Yew Yin Scholarship.

The scholarship provided will be sufficient to cover tuition fees and cost of living expenses for the one-year foundation course.

On successful completion of the foundation course, the students will be required to apply for the government PTPTN loan to complete the degree courses chosen by them.

Conditions:

1.Scholarships will only be given to needy students whose parents are earning less than RM2,000 per month. Students of any class, race and religion are welcome to apply.

2.Scholarship recipients after completion of their degree courses are not required to compensate in any way for the financial support received. The only condition is that they will have to promise to help other poor students when they themselves are financially secure and in a position to help the unfortunate and needy.

3.All applications should be sent to the address below with appropriate parents' salary or pay vouchers or other evidence of income as well as offer letters from the universities. For students with parents engaged in self-employment, a letter of reference from a school teacher or official on the financial status of the parents will be sufficient.

This program involves 3 phases, course briefing, on the spot counseling and completed by an online registration. ILP programmes were tailored in order to provide certificate courses on various industrial skills. Do assist to disseminate this information. The target group for this program might need personal touch to encourage them to attend this program and often they would not be connected via emails. Thus, please personally assist to spread this information with your family or friends whom you think might benefit from this program. This year we hope to encourage at least 50 SPM school leavers to attend this program at each location. We will have a team of PhD guys would be leaving to Perak and Kedah to assist our youngsters.

Scholarship - Indian High Commission Malaysia

The Indian High Commission is offering eight scholarships for
