Dear Foundation/Diploma students,
Please be advised that with effect from October 2014, the minimum entry requirement for the Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) programme as required by the MQA Accounting Programme Standard is as follows:
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 AND
i. A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two subjects, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level;
OR
ii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level;
OR
iii. A diploma in accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level;
OR
iv. Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level.
Your kind attention to the MUET Band 2, minimum CGPA of 2.50 for Diploma and Foundation, credit in SPM Mathematics and pass in SPM English requirement is much appreciated. Please ensure that you have obtained the MUET Band 2 results when you apply for the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) programme. Students who do not meet these requirements cannot be offered a place in the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) programme.
